I miss blogging and journaling. This semester has been crazy and my poor little hobbies are getting squeezed out one by one. Then I realized they are more than hobbies, they're outlets the Lord has given me... no wonder I have been feeling so overwhelmed lately. I am not even abiding and obeying His command to rest in Him. Well all that to say I will be blogging more, for the sake of not going crazy, for the sake of resting! Oh resting you even sound and look so sweet upon my computer screen...hehe.. Here are some verses I have been chewing on till I really get time to blog.

Psalm 34:4-7
I sought the LORD, and he answered me;he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant;their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the LORD heard him;he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
Isaiah 55:10-11
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
James 3:3-6
When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
Oh Lord, your words are like honey to my soul!
Kwaheri ya kuozungumzana. [Goodbye, till we speak to each other]
