So many people long for a throne here on Earth, for that power and prestige. Battles have been fought, people killed, silents wars that we don't even know about go on to this day. Just to receive a kingdom, a throne, yet one day the king will pass, and the kingdom may even perish like many ancient ones have.
Yet, God promises us a kingdom that is free and one which will never perish. Our hands are free of blood, and we never had to draw our swords to receive it. We don't even deserve it! But the blood was shed, the price paid. The son of God, who was made a light in our darkness, and filthiness, took on the debt of our sin, paid it with his very own blood, so that we could inherit this Kingdom of God. We are made co-heirs of His throne, the throne where our Lord is seated. We are made glorious through Jesus' death. Let us then long, strive, fight to know this kingdom which has been so graciously given to us.
(Matthew 6:19-21)19"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
So the question is Where are your treasures stored, and if u died tomorrow would they hold any value??
